On 7 and 8 February 2020, Kyiv hosted the Selector PRO international music industry forum organised by the British Council in Ukraine teamed up with Music Export Ukraine. The forum focused on international live scene as an invaluable resource for those looking to find their place in this area.

On February 7, during a closed professional networking session, Ukrainian concert agencies and independent promoters met music agents from UK along with industry representatives from Eastern Europe, the Western Balkans, and Central Asia. The main intention was to provide an opportunity for experts from different countries meet, dive more deeply into specifics of each other's work and discover cooperation opportunities. Delegates finished up their day at Selector Live concert, where listened to The Comet is Coming (UK) supported by Atomic Simao (UA).
On 8 February, the forum was opened to the general public for a music conference at Osvitoria HUB. The forum covered 5 topics, highlighting the connection between an agent, booker and artist, specifics of music industries in Western Balkans and Central Asia, issues with grassroot venues, international possibilities for music support and case of Katowice as the City of Music.

Lastly, all international delegates had an opportunity to listen to emerging Ukrainian artists in terms of secret showcase. Based on the open-call applications, organisers selected ptakh_jung, Sheetel and The Good Stuff and The Unsleeping to perform. The last panel was possible with the support of the Polish Institute in Ukraine.
All in all, Selector PRO gathered 20 experts from 10 countries (Great Britain, Ukraine, Poland, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, Albania) and over 200 visitors of open part of the forum.
