Music Forum and showcase by Kavkaz Jazz Festival 2019. Georgia
The first professional networking music forum in Caucasus took place in Tbilisi, Georgia on November 22-23. Event was initiated and organized in the framework of Kavkaz Jazz Festival. Program manager of Music Export Ukraine Inna Lytovka joined the panel discussion on challenges of local music sector.
Together with Bill Bragin (The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi, UAE-US), Luciano Gloor (Consort B, GE- CH) and Helen Mechitova (Kavkaz Jazz Fest, GE) they highlighted main approaches of setting a sufficient background for music industry development and found intersection points of their countries’ national music ecosystems. Moreover, Inna held a Music Export workshop where she explained an implementation of popular export strategies and shared the best practices of Ukrainian musicians who rocked international markets.
