Eastern European Music Academy students shine at MENT Ljubljana!
Our exceptional EEMA Fall 2023 students embarked on an unforgettable journey at MENT Ljubljana, a leading showcase festival and music conference in Central and Eastern Europe, held in February 2024.
During the conference, our alumni honed their elevator pitches. They learned invaluable networking tips from industry experts Chris Cooke from Complete Music Update, Carina Sava from Mastering the Music Business, and Katja Talerova from Sharpe Festival.
For many attendees, this was their initial face-to-face gathering, a time brimming with enthusiasm and bonding. They engaged in meaningful speed networking sessions, attentive listening opportunities, and panel discussions led by industry leaders. They also had the privilege of meeting emerging stars in the regional music scene through the New Faces: Generation 2024 initiative.

What an amazing experience we had at Athens Music Week! Perfectly organized and executed, Athens Music Week was the ideal event to introduce our top 10 EEMA Winter iteration students to the music industry. It featured plenty of panel discussions, workshops, and networking events with renowned experts, as well as vibrant showcase nights and heartwarming conversations over coffee (or a glass of wine).
- This year, the Eastern European Music Academy is honored to support the Athens Music Week festival & conference
- Among the events organized at the conference, EEMA was highlighted at the Athens Music Week Network Mixer, alongside HEMI Music Hub and MTE Academy
- We held a closed meeting where EEMA Alumni had the opportunity to practice their elevator pitches in front of some of the course lecturers and music industry experts
- Some students were invited to participate as speakers in incredible panel discussions. EEMA also brought together our Alumni Community at the Reception hosted by the Eastern European Music Academy on Day 2 of the conference
