Music Export Ukraine is heading to FOCUS Wales 2025! 🎶

From 8–10 May, this major UK showcase brings together 250+ artists, 20 stages, and global music professionals. On May 10, our co-founder Alona Dmukhovska will speak at the panel on how live music can unite divided communities. Let’s meet there! 


 Lithuanian Band Biplan Plays a Concert in Kyiv 

Recently, in Kyiv’s Pepper's Club, Lithuanian pop-rock band Biplan closed their concert with heartfelt words: “We are Lithuanians, and our hearts are here.” The concert was part of a charity auction series organized by Ukrainian radio host Sonya Sotnyk, raising funds for the rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainians. Biplan donated a signed vinyl of “Visi keliai 10 metų veda prie jūros” and delivered a soulful live set. It was an emotional night full of music, solidarity, and community — a reminder of the power of culture in dark times. ❤️


Noise Every Wednesday: Kyiv’s Underground Goes Loud
In Kyiv’s Otel’ club, Noise Every Wednesday (NEW) has grown into a weekly ritual for Ukraine’s experimental music scene. Launched in July 2023 by artists Kseniia Yanus and Vadym Oliinykov, NEW brings together noise makers, improvisers, and visual experimenters for an open, midweek playground of sound and collaboration. With over 60 artists featured so far — from local legends like Ereh Saw to first-timers — the series has become a platform for growth, where even lighting designers and performers find unexpected career paths. Hyphen Dash: Jazz as Resistance in Wartime Ukraine

Ukrainian jazz trio Hyphen Dash is redefining what it means to be a band in wartime. Formed in Kyiv in 2022, the group blends improvisational jazz with the realities of life under invasion. Their performances, often held in bomb shelters and underground venues, serve as both artistic expression and acts of defiance. Through their music, Hyphen Dash provides solace and a sense of normalcy to communities disrupted by conflict, illustrating the power of art to endure and resist even in the darkest times. Rolling Stone covered Hyphen Dash covered Hyphen Dash to spotlight how Ukrainian musicians are using jazz as a form of cultural resilience and resistance during the war. The story highlights how their improvised performances in shelters and conflict zones embody both artistic innovation and defiant survival.


Maryna Krut' Brings Ukrainian Spirit to KEXP With Bandura Performance 

Ukrainian singer and bandurist Maryna Krut’ delivered a captivating live session at KEXP, showcasing the cultural richness of Ukraine through her modern take on the traditional bandura. Recorded on January 22, 2025, the performance featured four original songs, blending Ukrainian folk with contemporary indie sounds. In her conversation with host Darek Mazzone, Maryna emphasized that music is a powerful medium for Ukrainians to express their unique identity and resilience, especially amid ongoing challenges. She stated, “I will spend my entire life with this instrument [bandura], and throughout my life, I will show the world what Ukrainian culture truly is.” This performance marks a significant moment for Ukrainian music on the global stage, as Maryna Krut’ joins the ranks of DakhaBrakha and Dakh Daughters as one of the few Ukrainian artists to perform live on KEXP.

    Ukrainian rock band Bez Obmezhen is heading to North America this October with a powerful 2025 tour across the U.S. and Canada, blending emotional anthems with messages of resilience. A portion of ticket proceeds will support Ukraine’s defense forces through the purchase of FPV drones, making this tour both a musical and humanitarian mission.

  • Miss Monique

    One of the biggest names in EDM scene - DJ Miss Monique is coming to your town! She will be travelling around the globe until end of the year - including Brasil, Ibiza, will have a residency with David Guetta, you name it! Definitely keep an eye on this girl!

  • SadSvit

    Indie, alternative, post-punk and electronica - in SadSvit's music, all of this is woven into a unique space between melancholy and explosive energy. Tracks about youth, loss, finding oneself and hope have already found a response from thousands of listeners, and now it's time to hear them live.

  • Stoned Jesus

    The band going on one of the biggest tour to date. If you’re fan of distinctive stoner metal sound with some doom metal elements, make sure to catch them in your city!
