MEU April 22 newsletter

It’s been more than 2 months of the full-scale Russian war in Ukraine. More casualties, more occupied territories, but at the same time – even more support from our fellow citizens and international community. While most of the attention is focused on the military and political scenes, our creatives continue to fight and bring value in the cultural front, too.

No matter how hard it is to live through these unprecedented times, we continue to live our lives doing as much as we can to support our country and our people. With that being said, check out a bunch of updates from us.

On 26-29 April 2022 the leading annual International Live Music Conference (ILMC) took place in London. It gathered 1000+ delegates from over 60 markets, including featured remote guest speakers from Ukraine at the Open Forum. Alona Dmukhovska from Music Export Ukraine and Sasha Yerchenko from Smart Event Agency talked about life during the war, how it changed the lives of Ukrainians and what they do on the musical side to bring the country’s victory closer while supporting colleagues and regular people. This conference was remarkable to us, not only due to the participation itself but also for another announcement. Remember last time we teased an online job search platform we’ve been developing? It’s live now! Our ARTery project was presented by our project manager Inna Lytovka and foreign partners right at one of the ILMC sites!

We are extremely happy to join forces with great partners of ours, ARTmania (Romania) and Pohoda Festival (Slovakia) to work on ARTery, a platform for a job search in the music industry for Ukrainian music representatives. ARTery is a trusted platform where event organizers and venues can post job offers and available roles. It will not only support Ukrainian music representatives, but also can fulfill the European need for qualified workforсe before the festival season.

  • If your company has the open positions, please Register and Create a job offer
  • If you're a Ukrainian music representative, please Register and Сreate your profile, so you will be able to browse job offers and apply directly.

The platform will be constantly updated, so keep an eye on the news via the official pages of the project.

Charity concerts of Ukrainian artists

And great news from the live industry side – our leading artists are heading to the USA and Europe for a number of charity concerts. Male artists will be granted official permission to temporarily leave the country in the context of the war with the russian federation. With these performances, musicians want to continue to tell, sing and draw attention to the war in Ukraine and raise funds to support the armed forces, and humanitarian and cultural campaigns in Ukraine. Below you can check out the tour dates and locations, hope you can find something for yourself to combine support with pleasure!
